On February 16th at a neutral site, the Sun Devils lost to the Huskies, 77-69, in conference action.

Some notes on this matchup: According to the RPI rankings, Washington was the much better team, #60 to #229. The Sun Devils are usually not very good on the road, and the Huskies had momentum and had won 4 of 5. The Sun Devils lost to the Huskies earlier this season 60-54.

Arizona State struggled due to statistical wins by Washington in assists and free throw shooting.
